Hey, hey, hey! Thanks for checking out my blog!
Since this is the “About Me” section, I’ll try to give you a brief summary.

My name is Stephanie 🙂 [Good place to start, eh?”]
Hmm…this is harder than I thought, haha.
I was born and raised in Illinois until recently moving across the river to St. Louis this past summer. I have an amazing family consisting of two parents and 5 kids – I’m the middle child. 🙂
We’re definitely not the Cleaver family and we have our quirks, but I wouldn’t trade my family for the world and they’ve helped shape me into the woman I am today.
I was raised in church my whole life and sometimes I felt like Samuel living in the temple because we were there so much. But I loved it, and I still do.
I accepted Jesus into my heart when I was a little girl, but it wasn’t until I was a pre-teen that I stopped playing the game of follow-the-leader with my parents’ faith and chose to really make my faith my own. I am so far from perfect and have my own story to tell, but Jesus is teaching me how to be more like Him every day, guiding me with His Holy Spirit. Following Christ has been an amazing adventure to say the least.
My relationship with God is the most precious thing I have and He is the ONLY reason I am still here today. He has done sooooo much in my life that I don’t have enough room to write it all out on this blog, but ask me sometime and I’ll be more than happy to share! Saved by grace, love, and the blood of Jesus pretty much sums it up.

When I was little, I wanted to be one of two things – the President or a Missionary.
A few years later, I realized politics definitely were not my cup of tea!
But, although I don’t imagine myself moving away to another country long-term (never say never, though!), missions has always stayed close to my heart. And I knew God was calling me into the ministry at a very young age.

I have a passion for God, and a passion for people to know Him.

That’s the VERY, VERY short version of the more serious part of my About Me section (I’ll be posting more about this part in my future blogs, so if you want to know more, go ahead and enter your email address in the subscribe square to your left to get the updates!)

My sister, Hannah, is also going on the World Race September 2013, so you can check out her blog too! hannahstambaugh.theworldrace.org
