Month one is almost over!  We leave for Nicaragua some time around Sunday. Next month will be our first "Unsung Hero" month which means we will be traveling all around Nicaragua looking for new ministry contacts for future World Racers.

Here is (kinda sorta) what my days have looked like while in Guatemala:

5:30- Wake up/devotion time/take vitamins (that's for you mom 😉

6:15- Workout or laundry or cook for squad

7:00- Breakfast

8:00- Walk to ministry to hang out with elderly, weave palm leaves, bleach and paint walls, wash dishes, move water from the well, play soccer, attempt to lead Spanish worship music, make clown art, etc.

3:00- Walk back to compound or find WiFi or shop for groceries

6:00- Dinner

7:30- Squad Time (activities, teachings, worship, etc.) or Team Time (movies, cards, Bible study, etc.)

9-ish- Feedback/team prayer

Last weekend for our day off we had a squad outing to Lake Atitlan which is a tourist spot in Guatemala. The views were beautiful—volcanoes, mountains, water, colorful markets…

When we were close to the public beach, the bus stopped at a resort and the squad was informed that they could either wait for the market and beach stop or get out and go zip-lining. 16 of us got off to zip-line. I got some awesome GoPro footage of my zip-line experience. Unfortunately, videos take some time to upload, so you will have to take my word for it. JK, I WILL post them, just not today.
