I just wanted to say thank you for following my blog and for my supporter who have believed in how the Lord is using me enough to partner with me in building the Kingdom.
I will have a newsletter out soon, potentially including what the next step will look like. Here’s a quick look back at the past couple of years:
April 2013: Applied to the World Race!
After graduating, I decided to sign up for the mission trip I had been stalking for a couple of year. I was pretty nervous about committing a year to mission work, but God began to teach me to trust him.
July 2013: World Race training camp

Sleeping on a bus, eating with my hands, packing up all my newly acquired camping gear every night, crying a lot… Phew. Is all I have to say.
September – December 2013: Team Ubuntu (Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Thailand)
Highlights of my time as part of team Ubuntu: Serving at an elderly home in Guatemala, finding new ministry contacts in Nicaragua, teaching at a school in Costa Rica, and serving a church in Thailand, surviving dengue fever, celebrating Christmas in Thailand, and experiencing physical healing.
January-February 2014 Team P63 (Cambodia and Malaysia)
Highlights: Serving missionaries in a remote village in Cambodia, teaching a kindergarten class in Malaysia, elaborate scavenger hunt, teaching English and Bible classes, impromptu Bible studies, and the beginning of some major life-changing lessons in my walk with the Lord.
March-July 2014 Team Lionheart (India, Nepal, Mozambique, Swaziland and South Africa)
Highlights: Serving a church in India through manual labor, door-to-door village ministry, travelling to many churches in Nepal, renovation projects and teaching at a boys home in Mozambique, serving an orphanage in Swaziland, sports ministry in South Africa, a three-day trek in the Himalayas, my mom visiting me for a week, and some crazy transportation experiences.
September-December 2014 First Semester at the Center for Global Action
My first semester helped me to translate the many things I learned on the World Race to life back in the States. I began to see my calling and learned about prayer ministry and how I can use my educational background for the Kingdom. In missions track, I learned about discipleship and how to use Christ’s model today.
January-May 2015 Second Semester at the Center for Global Action
This last semester I have become more aware of God’s calling for my life, and I have gained job skills in my internship and have assisted my department in creating resources so that the staff has more time to develop relationships with missionaries and ministries on the field. Worship track has helped my learn how to worship throughout the day and listen to his voice. I have also gotten involved in the local community through a healing ministry and a women’s small group.
I will soon send out a newsletter and I would love to send you one! Please send me an email at [email protected] with your address and/or email address if you would like to receive one.
Thank you again for supporting me through this journey!
Stephanie
