Let’s Do This!!
The day has finally come!! Don’t worry, I’m not leaving the country yet, but I am heading off to training. I will be spending the next ten days at Training Camp in Gainesville, GA. Here, I will meet my new World Race family (the 50 people I will be traveling with) and complete training for all that is in store next year!
Not many details are given about training, but I know a 3 mile hike (with my pack on) is in my future. I would like to say I feel super prepared, equipped and invincible…but I think dependent, excited and ignorant of all that is to come is probably a better description.
Thank you to everyone who has been coating me in prayer. Please pray that our squad (and each of the teams that we get broken into) will be blessed by this training experience and glorify God in the ways that we love on each other.
