Manna literally means “What is it?”  What is it that God has for us in each country and each situation we will be placed in? Manna also carries the connotation of spiritual nourishment since the Israelites had manna provided for their nourishment while they wandered in the desert. We desire to be the vessels through which God can work to bring the hope of spiritual nourishment found in Christ to those in need all over the earth. Just as manna had to be gathered new every morning (except the Sabbath), we recognize that as we pour ourselves out daily we must continually return to the Father to be filled anew each day.
