The longest 82 hours of my life began last Tuesday morning long before the sun rose and ended long after the sun’s descent Friday night. My journey meandered its way through five different countries (Dominican Republic, USA, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia) and involved little to no sleep.

During four days of travel, I spent almost 27 hours in the air, 15 hours in a bus (of varying comfort levels) and about half an hour in a Thai tuk-tuk.  About 16 hours of my life during those four days passed by in airports either waiting, grabbing luggage, passing  through customs/immigration lines, etc.

I slept-walked through 15 hours in Los Angeles with family and friends that were happy enough to see us that they didn’t seem to mind our delirious state or lack of ability to complete full sentences. Oh and let’s not forget about the four hours spent at the Thai/Cambodia border.

I have no idea where the other 4.5 hours or so went.

Regardless… we made it safely to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I am in love with the food and am certain I’ve gained back all that was lost in Haiti. The heat and humidity is awful and only promises to grow worse but thankfully we have running water and showers this month!

Team Manna is working with two different orphanages – Good Shepherd and Love in Action. We have only visited one so far but are already in love with the children and are looking forward to the next few weeks here.

Thank you for all your prayers during our travels!!
