A couple days to go!

I have mixed feelings of wanting to leave and not. I don’t want to leave because I absolutely love serving people! Especially complete strangers. Getting to travel and serve is one of the best things ever, and another perk is meeting all the cool people along the way. You start to realize that no matter where you are from, we are all one, perfectly made from our Father. It’s such an honor and blessing to have gotten the chance to go over to so many countries and spread the authentic love of Jesus!

This season has been such an amazing one in my life, and I absolutely didn’t deserve it. Praise be unto a gracious God who loves to bless His children!

Although this has been such a blessed and fruitful journey. I am very excited to go back to America. Even though it’s awesome to see things that are new and fun, there’s something comforting about going home to the familiar ‘old and boring.’ It’s also comforting to know i’ll see the familiar faces of my family and friends, who I love so dearly.

Even though I get to rest in comfort and familiarity soon, God hasn’t called us to live our entire lives like that, and that’s ok with me. Because America isn’t my home, nor is Albania, the Philippines, or Africa, it’s heaven. Where God has already prepared a place for me. A place of true comfort.

So as I depart very soon from here i’m preparing my heart..goodbye South Africa..Hello America!
