Albania.

A country with beautiful mountains, and beautiful people.

I feel so lucky to be here, so blessed.

Even though I may mention that our toilets weren’t so splendorous. They were literally holes in the ground. And showers were cold, food tasted different and laundry was done by hand.
People might think i’m crazy to have traded a life full of comforts and luxury to be in a foreign country with so many unfamiliarities, but I think just the opposite. I undoubtedly believe i’m spoiled. Yes, i’ve been working really hard; pulling out weeds, shoveling pig excrement, washing dishes from 50+ people, planning and administering a VBS, and visiting those who are without food and being able to provide that for them.
All of this work is not mine, in reality it all belongs to God. He’s been using my hands and feet to show His love, His goodness, His awesomeness!
That’s what really touches my heart. Knowing that Jesus doesn’t need me, but I need Him. And even though I don’t deserve it, He still continuously shows me His good favor by enabling me to work for His glory.
What a honor
