Dear friends,
I have the incredible opportunity to take part in The World Race, a program of Adventures in Missions. The basic idea behind the World Race is 11 countries in 11 months, sharing the gospel and God’s love. I will be a part of Route 5 leaving in July 2015. The countries on this route include: El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, Mongolia, and China.
Throughout the Race, my team and I will be participating in various projects. We could help build a house, work in an orphanage, or minister to women and children that are victims of human trafficking. The possibilities are endless, but everything will be done in order to make a positive difference in the world for His glory.
I will face many challenges throughout the World Race, but as I prepare for my departure, one of the greatest challenges is my financial support. Like most other missions organizations, World Race participants are required to raise financial support. In order to leave fully funded in July, I need $16,266. This amount covers all necessary field expenses for the 11 months.
I ask you to prayerfully consider partnering with me in this way. Financial support can be given as a one-time gift or a monthly donation, beginning now and going through January 1, 2016 – the final deadline for being fully funded. ANY amount helps, be it $10, $100, or $1000. There are a number of ways that you can donate:
1. Click the link on the left-hand side of this page that says, “Support Me!” You can make a one-time gift or set up monthly recurring donations.
2. Go to www.adventures.org/dynapay to set up a monthly payment with NO FEE.
3. Write a check payable to Adventures in Missions (with my name on the memo line) and send it to: Adventures in Missions, P.O. Box 742570, Atlanta, GA 30374-2570
Here is the specific breakdown of dates and amounts that I must have:
- $3,500 – Due May 1st ,2015 (2 weeks before Training Camp)
- $7,500 – Due June 12th,2015 (2 weeks prior to the trip)
- $11,000 – Due October 1st, 2015 (End of 3 months on the field)
- $15,500.00 + $766 (Insurance) = $16,266 – Total Due January 1st, 2016 (End of 6 months on the field)
Whether or not you are able to provide financial support, I invite you to partner with me in prayer! Please pray for me and my team, that we may be God’s hands and feet and shine his light wherever we go. Please also pray for God to open the hearts of those we will meet along the way and that they will be ready and willing to hear the message we bring.
