First off, let me apologize for not posting a new blog sooner. I have been all over the place, it seems like. I had my wisdom teeth removed & celebrated a birthday, the day after. So, my life has been hectic to say the least the past week & a half.
I am excited to say that I am now registered at REI in Greenville, SC! You can access my registry here: http://www.rei.com/GiftRegistryDetails/GR109138680! I spent about an hour registering for my gear & within that hour I got 10x more excited for this journey. I think being able to be hands on with the gear I will be living out of & getting by with for a year, made this experience become more real! My excitement is definitely through the roof now!
To everyone who ordered t-shirts: due to the amount that I ordered & the fact I keep adding to that order, shirts will be delivered a little later than planed! I did not plan for them to sale they way they have & I am currently taking orders for the second batch! I am truly blown away & humbled by the demand of them.
Also, donation jars are now up at the local businesses! Check them out at Little Pigs, The Clock, Tinsley & Co, Manney’s, Grapevine, & Firehouse Subs all in Boiling Springs.
I can say this & say this, but I am truly humbled by the outpouring of love & support from my community, friends, & family. I am still continuing to pray every night that God changes me way more than he changes the people around me or the people I come in contact with through this journey & I am already seeing & feeling that prayer being fulfilled & I haven’t even left the United States yet!
