Argentina, month 8 has come and gone so quickly. It was by far one of my favorite months of the race so far. The people, culture, and atmosphere of Argentina is some of the most beautiful I’ve seen. I was located in JuJuy, Argentina, which is in the northern part of the country near Bolivia. I was a part of a ministry called Cristo par la Ciudad (Christ for the City) where we participated in a variety of things. This culture is very relational, so we also became like family with our wonderful hosts. We spent pretty much every waking hour with their family, and we enjoyed seeing how they truly live their life on mission.

We did things such as homeless outreach at an old bus station, passing out food to the people there. We got to do prison ministry, we passed out bibles to students at the local school, baked cupcakes to go out into the park on Saturday nights to pass them out to the kids out there, youth ministry, community service work with a local church, organized donated clothes, and met with lots of different people in the community. I will remember this month always and how the people here love so well!
