I am still in Cambodia and doing well. I wanted to share some fun stories with you about how God has been so good to us in very miraculous ways!
God has been extremely gracious to us during our travels. On our trip to Thailand, we had a miraculous finding of one of the girls’ boarding pass that went missing! From California to Thailand we had a layover in China. We had to go through security in China, get a stamp into the country on our boarding pass before getting on the plane in China. As we began to check into our second flight in China, one of the girls couldn’t find her boarding pass! We asked the flight attendant at the check in counter if she can just use her passport to pull up her info on the computer. He said no. She would need to exit the departure terminal, get a new boarding pass, then go through entry security to get the stamp on her boarding pass, and then board the plane. However, our flight was leaving in 15 minutes!! There was NO way we were going to be able to do all that in 15 minutes and this plane wasn’t going to wait for us.
We had everyone search in their carry ons in case someone grabbed her boarding pass by mistake. She looked through all her stuff probably three times. We had two girls run around the airport retracing our steps to see if it fell on the ground. Without any luck, we then had her stop, pray, and calm down so we could search through her stuff one more time. Within a minute after that prayer, another girl found the missing boarding pass in her stuff!! We ended up boarding that plane with two minutes to spare! Yayyy God! 😀
Our second big travel day was from Thailand to Cambodia. At the border entering into Cambodia, one of our girls couldn’t find her passport! Everyone else except for one other person had crossed the border already and were waiting on the other side. We didn’t know what to do except to pray for them to find it!
They looked everywhere in her stuff. They retraced her foot steps to see if it fell and couldn’t find it. On the Cambodian side everyone gathered and we prayed for her to find her passport. We prayed that it would supernaturally just appear and that someone would find it and be honest and turn it in! As we were praying, we received a phone call from the other side that the passport had been found! Someone had found her passport on the ground and returned it to her!!! WOW God is sooo good! He answered our prayers within 30 seconds! It was so fun and such a relief!
