A huge
THANK YOU  to everyone who sent letters and packages to Nicaragua and Peru!   It was great to actually get cards and presents on my birthday (March 12th).   I to am thinking and praying for each of you.

The last few days were spent in Lima, Peru.  Yesterday we made it up to Musho – a tiny village in the Andies mountains where we are going to be spending  our next month.  Once a week we will be able to “bajar” – come down the mountain – to use the internet.  So, I will update everyone as often as possible.

We will be working with an existing church – helping to equipt their members to disciple others and spread the Gospel.  We are also hoping to plant another church in a nearby village.   Please pray for open hearts that are eager and ready to accept God’s love.  Some of the local villages that we will be traveling to have yet to hear the Gospel!  Pray that God’s light will shine out of each one of us and that we can all quickly learn the Quechua language – the local dialect!

I am excited to share with all you Iowan folk – right outside of our church is a ‘tiny’ corn field.  When I woke up this morning and walked outside – it was the first thing I saw.  Praise the Lord for some comforts from home…even if it is corn! (Alissa G. is also an Iowan girl)
