Dear Beloved,
I see you and I love you. You are always on my mind. I watched you as you were being formed in utter seclusion, as you were woven together in the dark of the womb. I saw you before you were born. Every day of your life was recorded in my book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. I knew this day would come. But what the evil one intends for evil, I will turn to good. The battle for your soul is raging in the heavenly realm. But do not worry, beloved, you are safe. You can rest in your Father’s arms. I have already won the battle for you.
It hurts me when you hurt. And you have been hurting for a while. People have hurt you. Life has hurt you and I am sorry. I cannot stand to see my precious children living without hope. I sent you my very son, so that you would have abundant life. If it was only you here on this earth, I still would have sent him to save you. I have come to the earth to comfort the broken-hearted and to set the captives free. I have given you beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning and praise instead of despair.
Every moment I know where you are. Though you may be trying to escape from this world, you can never escape from my spirit. You can never get away from my presence. I know your every thought. I see you up on that remote mountain. I see your thoughts – to take your destiny into your own hands. I see the fear that is driving you to choose death over life. Do not turn on the ignition. Please hold on sweet one. I am fighting for you. I am on your side. If I am for you, who can be against you?
Look to your right. Look at the blue sky, the green trees, the rolling hills, the sparkling water. They all display my glory and beauty. All you see is mine; therefore, as my child, they are all yours. I made them just for you. But they do not even begin to compare to the pinnacle of my creation: YOU! You are made in my image. I made you exactly the way you are for a purpose. Nobody on this earth is just like you. You have a unique and special purpose, and if you do not walk in your destiny no one else ever will!
Now, look around. Do you see them? Look into their faces. Look at their tears. They are from America and I sent them to South Africa to tell you how much I love you. I LOVE YOU! I sent them here just for you. I sent them down this path just for you. They thought they were going to visit a cave this afternoon, but I had different plans. Plans that included you. Plans that included you living, not dying.
Come to me, son. Return to me. You have been forgiven since the beginning of time. I eagerly welcome you back into my arms. Keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be open. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And the door is opened to everyone who knocks.
Beloved, I know the plans I have for you. They are plans for good and not disaster and to give you a future and hope. Cling to that hope. Keep your eyes focused Me. Today is a day of transformation. A day to declare LIFE!
I love you, son. You have many more years to live with me and your family. Rejoice. Look around. Do you see the Father’s heart for his son. Oh, our journey will be one of life. A journey of love and hope. A journey of discovery and praise. A testimony of my amazing grace and unconditional love.

(This letter is based off a recent true encounter. In God’s grace and sovereignty, He sent my team on a remote path in the mountains in S. Africa to deliver His message of Life to one of His precious, hurting sons. We thought it would be a day of sightseeing, but the Lord had a different agenda. What an honor to be used by Him!)
