I think that I have fallen in LOVE…

Truthfully, I didn’t want to leave Bangkok. I wanted to stay in the city and work with the girls who are ‘stuck in’ the sex business. But I knew God was beckoning me to the mountains in Northern Thailand. And to work especially with a Karen couple, Pastor Payna and Rapee, who have ministered among the hilltribe people for many years.

I didn’t understand why God was whispering

Come on. Come meet me up in the mountains.

After spending a few weeks surrounded by God’s presence in the hills, I now know why…

The Karen people are a precious gift from God!

through prayer, God knit our team together…and interwove our hearts with those living and ministering in the hills day in and day out…

Pastor Payna and Rapee have been ministering amongst their people – the Karen hilltribe – for around 20 years.  They are light in the darkness…

(left) Hebrew is Pastor and Rapee’s nephew.  As he continues to pursue God, he is going to impact his generation for Christ.  (right) Ray, Candace and their daughter, Maile, have a heart for Thailand.  They work closly with Pastor and Rapee and make it possible for teams -like us – to also fall in love with the hilltribe people!

Please pray for them…as they are now part of me…and are fellow warriors in the Kingdom!

sharing God’s love…

…with students in schools                        …with families in villages

…with fellow brothers and sisters in church                                                                               …with Burmese in refugee camps and on the border

Last month, it was prophecied that I would
‘be stepping into my destiny in Asia’ and that
‘I would discover my call’

                            I didn’t believe it…

                                                                                                       but now I do…

…I have fallen in love.

(more blogs to come…and thanks to Tim W. for capturing the story in pictures!)
