I am convinced that Attitude is everything. My attitude will affect me today. It will affect me tomorrow, and the next day, and the next…Our attitude has a huge affect on how we view life. A lot of times we are not able to control what happends to us, but we can definitley control HOW we react to it. I know my attitude next year is going to have a huge impact on my World Race experience and on those whom I work alongside. I want to share the following quote with you.
Attitude
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude, to me is more important than facts.
It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances,
Than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill.
It will make or break a company…a church…a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past…
We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.
We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have,
and that is our attitude…
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.
And so it is with you…we are in charge of our Attitudes.”

My grandma had this quote posted on her refrigerator while she was enduring chemo and radiation treatments for cancer. Her attitude during this time still inspires me today. When she went home with the Lord, many of us took a copy of this quote home with us as a constant reminder or her and the fact that “we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for the day”.
