Mexico- Day 4.
Life in Palenque is going well, we are still in the midst of training, learning how to share God´s love across linguistic and cultural barriers. We are also learning how to hear His voice in all situations. It has been a great time of confirmation that this is where the Lord wants me and that He will equip me to do His work. This morning he gave me some verses as a kind of vision for the year:
“I am the LORD, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations, To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the dungeon And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.¨ Isaiah 42:6&7
I am excited to see how this will play out and what God will do in and through me as I learn to walk in His power.
I also wanted to give an update on my support for the year. I currently have $7,820 cash in my account and total of $10,625 in cash and pledges, this means I still need $3,275 to be fully funded and able to finish the Race.
