This week in Varanasi (Northern India), we met up with the rest of the squad. Three of my squadmates were raised up to be squad leaders! One of them was my team leader, Bri.
This meant that our there was a re-shuffling of our teams, and now I am on a new team!
Our tentative new team name is
Team Deep Roots
From the verses Eph 3:17-19
"so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
We want to search out the depths of each other, as well as be deeply rooted in the love of Christ. May our roots grow ever more deeply to draw from the unending source of His Spirit and love and may we grow tall and bear fruit for Him in the nations!
