Flexibility and change are inevitable on the Race. One change that is quite common is a team change. For the past four months, I served with Team Fearless Unity, but now I am with six other wonderful ladies in a new team. This team is comprised of Linsey, Vallory, and Amanda from my previous team, as well as three new teammates – Kristin, Kayla, and Tenille. We chose our name to reflect that we are an all female team hence the word beautiful. In Proverbs 31, a woman of God is described as strong. Several girls revealed that God had been teaching them to be like trees firmly rooted in him. And what part of tree is stronger than the roots? I am excited to introduce you to Team Beautifully Rooted. Be sure to check out everyone’s blogs!
We are now in Japan and will soon begin ministry. Dynamics look a lot different this month since we are split into host homes. Kristin, Linsey, and I are all staying with an American missionary family while the remaining four girls are split between two homes. We are well underway with ministry, so be on the lookout for an update on that later this week.
