On Thursday we woke up early for a time or prayer with the three teams, after we were finished praying and asking God to reveal what he wanted us to do today the pastor came up stairs and told us that another pastor who is also a friend of his lost his wife last night and asked us to pray for her. So we prayed for this lady and her family and friends.

When we were finished some people felt like we should go to the house and pray there, many people were feeling this including myself, the power of prayer is so effective with two or more —For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20the pastor we are working with called up taxis and we left after breakfast.

Some people wanted to pray over her and pray for her to rise from the dead because nothing is too big for our God. However she did not rise from the dead nor was she there it was a test of our faith and boldness.

While praying for the family God revealed to me that though she isn’t her on earth anymore and didn’t rise from the dead she did rise up into his Kingdom. How glorious she is walking around in the Kingdom of God she gets to sit at the right hand of our Lord, and she is healthy now, she is perfect and all disease has been taken away. She is a powerful angel guarding her family, she is a protector watching over her husband and children, they don’t have to morn because she is in the place that all Christians can’t wait to be in. she has eternal life now. She is with her family everyday even though it may not be on earth.

Thank you God that our days are not numbered that you have a plan for all of us and a purpose.

While at the house we got to spend time with the pastor praying over him, and against any attacks he was feeling from the enemy. We got to speak truth and life into him. Then we went into the house and prayed over the house and the family in the house. We got to share encouraging words with them and scripture. It was a very emotional time for us, a time that was hard, it wasn’t easy, it was a time where God broke me into tears for them just for a bit I felt what they felt and it provided me with prayers of life for them, it helped me to have sympathy for them. We ended by doing some worship outside the house and hugging the pastor showering him and his family with love. Even though death is hard, it is something incredibly beautiful for Christians and we need to never forget that. It is a celebration, and though it wasn’t easy they now see the light in the situation.

Yesterday some people went to her funeral, and got to pray with her congregation and share the gospel with them, even though I was not one of those that went I heard about the joy in people’s hearts now and the glory they are giving God. Please continue to pray for this family and the church as it will still be an adjustment and things will still need to be taken care of after her death.  <3
