So I am writing about Honduras and I am still trying to process the month, and what all went on, and the things we saw. It wasn’t anything to out of the ordinary at all but stuff that in America I am blind to, not because its not around me but because I try to avoid it. Ministry gave me a huge opportunity to grow in many ways, whether making me depend more on the lord for strength, safety and protection or even in simple life skills like cooking, cleaning and building relationships.

I had the opportunity to invest into six amazing boys with stories that can change your heart forever, you see them fail and succeed, you see them fall into temptation and give their life to Jesus Christ our Savior. Your heart breaks for these boys.

We did VBS in two completely towns El Horno a town of friendly people, completely safe, and full of God and his beauty but are hungry for more and hope. They are a town that works together, from making a farm at La Finca to helping rebuild some ones home.

Los Pinos a broken but beautiful town, a town where people are hurting spiritually, and falling. A town full of drugs, violence, poverty, and thinner, a unsafe town, a town that most people cringe at the name but a town that is starting to have a revival happen. A town where hearts are moving, people there want to know Jesus some want to be pastors and most hungry for more hope, we got to bring hope, joy, and love to the hopeless, poor, and broken.

Even in the dark places and moments God brings so much hope and light even if its through us or boys like Henry and Ronni who are on fire for the Lord and loving their brothers and each other.

This month we also worked at the farm cleaning a house that hasn’t been touched in 18 years, getting bats out of it by removing the roof ( this I did not do thank you who did) cleaning the inside and cleaning all the bat poop and pee out of it, it really taught me to deny myself, it was hard, who can say they want to do this.

We got to be there for the birth of a beautiful baby of Pamela in El Horno named Dustin Edgardo and pray for him and his mother I would love to go back and visit this family, we also got to decorate the babies room as a surprise and invest in this family and they made a huge impact in my life, opening their hearts and home to me and showering us in Gods love. theyre we a true blessing!!

But at the end of this month we saw huge things were going to happen, the farm now called Garden Of Eden will become a retreat center for missionaries and churches. We moved tony and the boys into the other house so the dormitories could be used for groups, light is being spread throughout the dark dark place of Los Pinos, people learned more English, we got to share Jesus with them through our actions and VBS, two boys will be going to a Christian rehab for their addiction to thinner, a new home was built for Lillian and her four boys,  many people will be going back to school, food has been provided for families, and God is moving in all the hearts we encountered. By a little seed planted God is bringing a revival to Honduras!
last week was also spent with S-Squad investing in each other catching up after two months, sharing what God has been doing in our lives, teaching us, streching us, and strengthing us, it was also a week or revival for our team satan was trying to defeat our team but we confronted the problem and have been becoming more and more unified as a team daily.
