Burnt to Ashes..

 

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Psalm 5:11

Have you ever thought about how God has His own timing and plan, he knows exactly what will happen in your life and when it would happen, he knows your strengths and weaknesses, he knows the trials you will face and the times you will praise Him.. our God is a knowing God and nothing is too big for him to handle.

It is Monday March 21, 2011 and it seemed like any other ordinary day, we went to a ladies house and her sister was there, so we prayed for the family, the people in the house and the ladies sisters children who were visiting but lived down the street. The lady with the children is named Ester and her sons are named Xavier and the other name is still unknown. She asked us to pray for her children, of course without any hesitation we did, they didn’t want to come near us they kept running away, but we prayed for the two boys, their epileptic seizers, to grow up to be strong men of God, protection, Gods blessings over them, His angels to surround them, that evil couldn’t harm them, and for God to provide in any ways they may need. Little did we know the effects of our prayers..

Two days later the mother goes into the boys room at 6.30 am to wake them up and get them ready for the day, the boys were around the ages of 4 and 2. As ester turns the light on sparks start to fly out of the boys room and an electrical fire is starting. From the stories we were told she got the boys out of the room and tried getting the fire out her self.. sadly no luck.

The husband is in the room sleeping and woken up by panic, they run out side and yell for help, trying to get someone to call a fire dept. for help, while protecting the boys keeping them calm. Windows are busted by the heat, theyre house begins to go up in flames and black smoke starts arising, an awful aroma of things burning is starting to take over the community, and you hear crackle and burning sounds as everything they own including theyre car is put up in flames and they were hopeless there was nothing they could do.

Finally the fire is out, but nothing is salvageable, the boys room is destroyed, all legal documents are burt into ashes, nothing could be saved and if it wasn’t burnt it was melted and covered in smoke and water. But gods presence was still in that home, he never left them, he protected them.

Did I mention everything in that home burnt to ashes because I was lying.. there was one thing that didnt.. the Bible that stood on a self in their living room right next to where the fire was, everything in that room was burnt to pure black smelly ash but thir stood a Bible on their wall, and the curtain that was over it.

God knew two days ago when we prayed for this family and for protection over them that this would happen but there would still be hope for them, hope in Him! He knew that His angels would be surrounding that family protecting them from harm and guiding them out of the fire. God is so much bigger and more powerful than a fire that may seem like it has total control and just ruined your life and you have nothing left, but that’s not true, and God made that clear and showed them by being the only thing that couldn’t be destroyed by the fire.. they still have our mighty protector who can save you from anything GOD!!!

Please be praying for this family, they lost everything they own but the Bible so pray they find their hope and love in Him. Also that Esters loving sister will keep their doors open for them until they can get back on their feet. They lost all legal document, birth certificates, license on the house everything and the mother is very depressed and they don’t know what they will do but pray that they see God will provide for them, He knows their needs, and pray the community will help them in any way possible and they never lose sight of Gods love for them!
