I must first apologize at my lack of blogging this month, I have been a little lazy.
But we are now finishing up our month in Tanzania, and this has been such a great month!

To start, last debrief we got new teams! I said Goodbye to Judah, and hello to Team Crux! My new team members are Braedon Tabor, Audrey Powell, Cindy Flores, Katie Duff, and John Linkous and Bekah Phelps came with me from Judah. We have quickly bonded together, and although having a new team was an adjustment, God has so much good planned for it!
This month we stayed with a pastor of an Assemblies of God church. He is probably one of the best contacts we have had so far. He was such a blessing and so willing to serve us by cooking us meals, to cleaning, and escorting us anywhere we needed.
e next day and see how God really changed their lives. One man, named Mgesa, (I think that’s how you say/spell it) had a heart condition and he was in Mwanza to get medical help. After he got saved during door-to-door, it was on my heart to go back and visit him and encourage him, but God was already on top of it, because the next day, Mgesa was at the church asking for healing prayer. I was so excited to see him and pray for him, and knew that God was really doing something great in this man’s heart. After that we saw him all the time in the church, getting prayer and encouragement from the parishioners. Here I thought I was the one who was going to give him encouragement, but just seeing him at the church encouraged me so much. God sent me to Mwanza for a reason, and sometimes you get to see that reason and the fruit of what God had planned. This was one of those times God allowed me to see a little of his plan for us being there.
The highlight of meeting Mgesa was the last week. An evangelist came in and was holding deliverance seminars for the church. People were getting healed, demons were manifesting and getting cast out. Deliverance
indeed! The first night Mgesa went up to get prayer, and instead started to manifest a demon. Some men pulled him aside and prayed and cast that demon out, and when he stood up, his face was so much happier. He thanked the pastor and myself for coming to his home and praised God for what he had done. He continued to come to the seminars and get prayed for healing and slowly, day by day he began to feel better.
While he didn’t get fully healed while I was there, I believe he will see full deliverance of his heart condition. The Bible says that it is by our faith we are healed, and I have never seen faith or new found dedication like I saw in Mgesa. Praise to God for transforming a heart!!!
