How much are you willing to pay for your life??
THIS IS THE ONE QUESTION WE ALL HAVE TO ANSWER… AND THE COST WE ALL MUST PAY.
As Bonhoeffer writes:
“Cheap grace is the grace we bestow on ourselves… the preaching of forgiveness without repentance, baptism without church discipline, communion without confession. Cheap grace is grace without discipleship…”
“Costly grace is the gospel which must be sought again and again…”
“It is costly because it costs a man his life, and it is grace because it gives a man the only true life.”
I have been thinking and praying about this above qoute now for the past few months and would love it for anybody to comment on this and share with me their understanding of it.
May God open our eyes as we journey through the riches of His grace and may He enable us to lay down our lives…
