We just returned from a few days of debrief on the surreal Thailand island of Koh Sumed.  It was an amazing week of reflection, rejuvination, fun and sun (well, sunburn..I got the worst!)  Our motto was, “It’s island time” where clocks weren’t read.  If you were hungry, you ate.  If you were sleepy, you slept.  It was an awesome week of reconnecting and just having a little good old fashioned fun with my teammates.  I got to go sailing (yipee!!!) and just enjoy God’s beautiful creation…

Fellowship with the bretheren…

Enjoying the Sunset…

Aaaand…watch fire dancers at night 😉

We head out tomorrow for Cambodia.  We will be in the capital of Phnom Phen where we will partner with a church along with the Media Team.  I will write more about Cambodia in the next blog, but know it is the Sex Trafficking capital of the world (among other horrible atrocities).  There, some of us will be working to start a sustainable minsitry reaching out to prostitutes that work right down the street from the church.  At present, there is no one working with them.  So please pray that God would just go ahead of us (as we know he already is!) and prepare a way for us to assist this church in planning and reaching out to these girls.  This whole subject continues to burn in my spirit and I am anxious to meet these girls and share the hope of Christ with them.

And….drum roll please.  We are thrilled to have Jimmy back with our team!!! He had to leave for a month as we were in Africa to set up our ministries in Asia but now he is back with Tribe 61 and ready to rock Cambodia for Christ.  Here is our classic jump pic…we try to do it in every country.  🙂
