With only 6 days until my departure to our first country, Ireland, you can imagine my excitement! It’s still hard for me to believe that I actually get to be a part of something like this! I feel so beyond privileged! Thank you so much to each of who have helped me get here.
I’m excited to annouce my team’s ministry plans during our stay in Ireland! We will be partnering with Dublin Christian Mission, the second oldest mission in the world (how cool is that?) Our primary focus will be outreach to at-risk children and immigrants.
During the week of Aug 15-22 we will be working at a camp called Ballinderry with underprivileged families in the Wicklow Mountains. This camp is a one week getaway and time of spiritual nourishment for the families that the Mission has had consistent contact with during the year. My team and I will be teaching, helping with arts and crafts, running activites, and doing numerous service projects. Following this week, we will be working with a group the Mission calls “The Tavelers.” They are a group of gypsies living in the Dublin area. I’m so excited to see how God is working in Ireland!
Please be in prayer for all 85 of us World Racers as we depart for Ireland out of New York City on August 11th. Pray for safety in travel, peace, provision and most of all, for God to use us in a mighty way!
