As you can see, my name is Stacy. I’ve recently graduated
from Florida State University with a degree in Communication Studies and am now
working at a Florist. Funny how things work out sometimes. Four years ago when I
moved to Tallahassee for school, I started attending an awesome church here and
quickly became involved in their youth ministry. Serving as a youth leader has
stretched me and caused me to grow so much in my relationship with God. He has
really just shown me some amazing things over the years…He is so cool! Growing
up in church, I always knew about God and in high school I genuinely loved Him,
but until recently I just never knew you could be so intimate with the Lord! He’s
encountered me with His love and overwhelmed me with His heart that I cannot go
back to being lukewarm. I know that there is so much more to God…so much more
depth to Him and I want it, I am desperate for more. I want Him to use me in
any way. I want to see real miracles. I want my heart to break for those around
me. I want to live out Mathew 5-7. I want to understand and genuinely love God
and love people and be a servant to all. That’s hard. Most times I fail but Jesus
is patient and full of grace. More than anything I want to sit at His feet.
What else to say? My family is from Romania and my culture
is a very big part of my life. Think “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” and add a
little more roughness to them and you have my family…if that makes any sense. They’re
pretty cool. My dad ran away from Romania in the 70s while it was under Communism.
It’s a really good story, but I can’t remember it all so I should ask him
again. I have a younger sister named Lea who is 19. She is a great photographer
and probably the biggest joy to be around. My brother Richard is 17 and my
favorite thing about him is that he doesn’t care about what anyone thinks about
him. That is an admirable trait. There aren’t any two humans on this earth
that I love more than those two. I also love my parents…they are…unique.
people’s reactions when they hear it for the first time. I really do have a
ridiculous sense of humor and I love to just joke around and act silly. I use random accents a lot. Akward moments are the best. I love
coffee shops and I wish I read more. I recently learned how to knit but I’m
still terrible. Hm…I think skydiving would be awesome to try one day. I really
love board games and just hanging out with people. Good conversations make me
happy. I love singing at the International House of Prayer here in Tallahassee;
it’s a new thing in my life and it is so sweet. I love music a lot and I have
wanted to play the guitar since I was 15 but I get discouraged easily so I can
only play 6 chords and not very well, haha! I am very easy going and it doesn’t take much to make me happy! I’ve been told I’m not a good respecter of personal space…what can i say, i love hugs! I think about the World Race every
single day and I pray for my team as often as I think about it. So team, I can’t
wait to meet you!
