Here is the long awaited for video tour of our home here in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This month we were living directly across from a university, and directly above a coffee shop/cafe. The coffee shop and cafe are run by the ministry that we worked with this month called Lighthouse in Action. Lighthouse in Action has three sections. 1) WonGen Cafe (where we were)- This section ministers to college students, teaches English, and tries to build relationships with the University students. 2) Love Acts- This group goes to the bars in the red light district and tries to build relationships with the prostitutes and lady boys (men dressed as women). 3) X Life- This group lives and works in a small villages and helps out with anything they need, including catching crickets and working in the rice fields. These families are the ones that are at the highest risk of selling their children into prostitution, so the idea is to stop it before it starts.
