**This is a rather long post, and probably not that interesting to those not going on the trip, or who haven’t gone before. I apologize in advance. 🙂

I LEAVE IN A FEW SHORTS DAY! So I have been packing for like a week straight, and I wanted to do a photo blog of sorts before
I left and then when I return so I could compare what I left with and what I
came back with to see the changes along the way. This will probably be more
useful for my squadmates, teammates, and future racers, but it might be
interesting for others to see what I am planning to live with for an entire
year, especially since some of my friends pack more than this for week long
trips. So here it is: the packing list before the race. 

 

CLOTHING:

6 pairs of socks (1 thick smartwool, 1 think smartwool, 4
thin running)

9 pairs of underwear

2 nice bras

5 sports bras

1 tankini

3 pairs of compression shorts

 

1 rain coat

1 track jacket

1 extremely warm Marmot jacket

1 Nike dri-fit long sleeve

 

1 pair of jeans

1 pair yoga/light sweat pants

4 capris (1 jean, 1 cargo/khaki, 1 pair of Aladdin style
pants, 1 Under Armor)

2 short skirts

2 long skirts

3 pairs of gym shorts

 

5 T-shirts (2 dri-fit, 3 cotton)

1 ¾ length lightweight cardigan

2 camis (1 black, 1 white)

5 “nice shirts” (1 is ¾ length)

 

1 pair of flip flops

1 pair of Chaco sandals

1 pair of lightweight tennis shoes

 

MEDICATIONS:

Tums, Aleve, Immodium, Excedrin, Ibuprofen, Zyrtec, Cipro,
Z-pac, motion sickness meds, malaria meds, 6 months work of vitamins, small med
kit, breathe right strips

 

TOILITRIES:

60+ Tampons + such

Hair supplies

Nail files, nail clippers, nail polish

Mascara, eyeliner

Dental care supplies

Shower supplies

3 deodorants (yes, I’m very particular about this)

Sun screen, tea tree oil, vitamin e oil, wrinkle release
spray (to make my clothes wrinkle free and smelling good)

Stretch bands for working out

6 notebooks (2 lined, 2 blank for drawing, and 2 mini)
