On October 3rd my team mobilizer, Jessica, sent out an email requesting people switch to another route in an attempt to creat smaller teams. There were too many people signed up creating a problem for the logistics team. When the email first came in I scanned it and immediatley disregarded it. I had already switched routes twice and had no interest in doing it a third time. I had already met someone on Z squad and had spoken to others via facebook. I had no interest in starting over again.
Over the next 24 hours Abba continued to bring it to my attention and I continued to disregard it. Then I began to feel like if I continued to ignore it I would miss out on something amazing my Father had planned for me. So I began to pray about it. With 10 minutes of praying I knew I was being called to switch squads. So I called Jessica. I am now a member of C squad.
My new route is: Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Albania, Bulgaria, Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique, Thailand, Cambodia, and Malaysia.
After spending a week at training camp with C squad I can say once again God has proven He knows best and has only good things planned for me. I LOVE my new squad! They are a group of amazing men and women who love God with all their hearts and who are on fire to spread the gospel to the nations. I am beyond excited to spend the next year with these people seeking God and spreading the Word!
