After two days of travel, we finally arrived at Shekinah Bible College in Palenque, Mexico, around 5:30 am last Monday, where we’ve been staying for the past week (see Marissa’s blog for a video of the details) . We have been receiving a lot of training from the AIM staff, as well as immersing ourselves in the culture around us and getting to know our teammates. Saturday, we took a break and had an opportunity to go to Agua Azul, a park with amazing waterfalls. In about an hour, our small team will be venturing out into a neighboring village for the next two weeks. We don’t know yet what we will be doing there.
