Hey friends! My new team and I, team FORCE, arrived in Zambia on Tuesday; we traveled a total of 24ish hours from Malawi to Zambia, and were blessed with staying with a “friend of a friend” half-way through our journey. We’re partnering with a new contact here in Kitwe, Zambia; we’ll be working with a Baptist Church right outside of Kitwe.
The kindness of the people has been very overwhelming; there was a group of people waiting for us at the church when we were picked up at the bus station. I almost started crying because of their excitement and the love that they have for us. I’m staying with a family that has 5 children, which is definitely never dull :).
I’ll write more about our ministry in Zambia and the ways that the Lord worked while I was in Malawi sometime soon. I’m so happy to be here and am truly thankful that I’m blessed with living with a family to celebrate Christmas and New Years…definitely an answered prayer.
