Team Freedom
Team Freedom: Dave, Dan, Nikki, Melanie, Renee, and Leanna
They spent their month living at an orphanage called Rosa De Amor in San Lucas, Guatemala. The kids at this orphanage are so awesome…I was definitely sad to leave them after just a few days. As you can tell by the picture, we had many nights of ridiculous laughter during feedback with these guys!

So good!

This team has been living near Antigua, Guatemala for the month; they’ve been partnering with an organization named Hope Haven International. This organization does house visits and manufactures wheelchairs for people with cerebral palsy and spina bifida. Team Kaleo also helped clean up and paint a school and held programs for children in the area. I was blessed to spend a night with just the women on the team and get to know them better.

This team has been living in a small village in the mountains of Los Robles, Guatemala; they partnered with an organization called Casa de Sion. Team Beautiful Feet

Team Beautiful Feet: Kayla, Liz, Jaime, Courtney, Jake, Wade
This team spent their month living in Chimaltenango, Guatemala and working with an organization named Life Unlimited. This team spent their first few days on the Race picking beans in a bean field…in the rain…talk about learning to be positive! This team also visited a local dump to pray for people that sift through the trash to survive and were the house parents for 32 children at a children’s home.
I’m finishing my time up in Guatemala with two of our teams, Team ZOI and Team Spicy Mustard. I was privileged to sit down with their ministry host a few nights ago to hear her story; this is their first time to host a World Race team, so it was great to just sit and chat with her about who we are.
Maureen was such an encouragement; she talked with me about the journey the Lord has brought her through, a story of faith and tough times in which the Lord’s faithfulness and promises shine through.
God is moving in Guatemala! Please continue to pray for B-squad and the ministries they have worked with this month. We are transitioning to Honduras next week!
