It was brought to my attention today that there is a January squad World Racer named Trevor Curington that is battling a life-threatening case of malaria as I write this. January Squad, also known as “M” squad, encouraged our teams just a few short weeks ago in Dublin. Trevor’s team was also held at gunpoint at their house in Tanzania, which led to them being robbed of everything. So, they’ve had a rough few months.

I don’t know him personally, but he is a part of the World Race family; I know that I would appreciate any prayers or financial support from fellow World Racers if I was in the same situation. Please watch this video and keep him in your prayers.
Also, our squad is preparing to go to Africa for 3 months, beginning in November. There have been a lot of malaria illnesses amongst World Racers lately. God is continuing to remind me that life is precious through instances such as this, but I’m not fearful. I know that some people are probably freaking out while watching this, so know that the people I am with have become like family and will do everything possible to take care of me if something were to happen. Please pray for health and that any spirit of fear or discouragement would be removed from our squads’ hearts.
