Hi all! You might be wondering where in the world Moldova is; truthfully, I still can’t answer that question and I’m living here! I may not know where I am on the map, but I do love this place and the simple way of life that it represents.
This month, a large portion of our ministry involves prayer; getting to know our contact Vitalle has transformed my mind-set toward prayer. It’s been a humbling experience to realize that nothing I can do is more powerful than prayer. We devote the beginning portion of our day to prayer (which is sometimes 3 hours), work with different aspects of the ministry (house visits, agriculture, kids program), have another hour of prayer, and then end the day with dinner and team time.
Vitalle has emphasized the importance of prayer since the day we arrived; when asked how we can help with certain things, his response is always “pray for me”. When he came to Cornesti, the only things he brought with him were his passion for planting churches and his wife. His reliance on God to provide a house and building for the church is a true example about what living with abandonment looks like.
I know that many people back home have been prayer warriors for me, which I greatly appreciate. Since I have a lot of time dedicated specifically to prayer this month, I would like to pray for YOU!
