Although it’s hard to have alone time while living with 27 other people, the next best thing is girl time :). Because the girls haven’t been able to walk the town without having a guy with us, we declared a few days throughout the month as girl days. We were able to explore the open market, hang out at the park, lay-out at a pool (yes, very awesome), eat ice cream, watch movies, have a photo shoot, and get our nails and toes painted for $3! Sounds pretty typical right? It was an awesome time of having fun and doing things that I would normally do back home.

One night, just the girls on my team decided to go to dinner together. We were able to really open up to each other and have some intimate conversations, while eating entirely too much pizza. It has been awesome to see that God so intricately orchestrated our paths to cross during this time in our lives. Sometimes in our puzzle of a life, we have pieces that we have no clue where they fit; it’s when other people come into our lives that we find the missing piece, and everything fits together perfectly. Others are able to see greatness in us that we sometimes ignore or aren’t able to acknowledge about ourselves. We each bring a unique perspective and story to our team, and are able to pour into each other because of what God has taught us in our individual experiences. I am thankful to be blessed with amazing women on my team and in my squad that are so fun and genuine 🙂
