Hello everyone!
This is Spencer Belkot typing. I am so happy to have the privilege and opportunity to go on the World Race this January! God has placed this calling on my heart since my sophomore year of college. It has become obvious to me that this is the Lord’s plan for my life. I cannot wait to embark on this challenging journey. Before I take on this 11 month mission trip, I think it is important for the readers at home to understand a little bit of who I am. So without further ado, here are 10 things you should know about me, Spencer Belkot.
1. I am the youngest of 4 siblings. I have two older brothers (Adam and Weston) and an older sister (Holly).
2. I come from an amazingly loud Italian/Polish family. Don’t believe me? Spend one night in the Belkot household and you will be amazed by; how much food we cook, how one family could use so much sarcasm, and how walls do not prevent us from having detailed conversations with each other.
3. I have two AMAZING parents. Words cannot express how much they mean to me.
4. I have two nieces (Waverly and Carly) and a nephew named Cooper. Nephew #2 is to be born in August! I kindof like being a fun uncle 🙂
5. I love playing ultimate frisbee, soccer, golf and basketball.
6. I play the cajon (box drum) and beatbox.
7. I was a part of an a cappella group in college and thoroughly enjoy singing.
8. I could eat cereal all day.
9. I am very outgoing, friendly, and my laugh could be confused with that of a 13 year old girl.
10. I recently graduated from Grove City College with a degree in Marketing Management.
