The last week has had its ups and downs but it never lacked in adventure. Every day starts out the same. I man the sander for a few hours but after that just about anything can and will happen. A few days ago I was walking past the pig pin when I heard tramatic squeals coming from that direction. The camp director came running and next thing I knew we were pulling the pig out of its pin and taking the necessary steps to have a feast the next day. It turned out that the pig was accidently fed cold food and its digestive system couldn’t handle it. The camp director made the right call and now we have free food for the rest of the month. A couple days after the pulled pork predicament we were playing volleyball. It was a heated battle between The USA and Romania. We began the 2nd set and seemingly out of no where a pothole appeared. The events that transpired next would serve as a testimate to socalist health care and become a great source for team jokes. Thankfully everyone is ok and now I have a new respect for healthcare in America. Be greatful for overhead lighting and medical equipment that was not made during the Cold War. All in all, the simple life in Romania is great and with any luck the cabin will be ready for pastors to enjoy within the next two weeks.
Thanks for all of the blog comments the have been very encouraging. I will do my best to keep up on the blog with limited internet access.
