I boarded an airplane straight out of the 80’s with working ashtrays still intact. After lots of turbulence and crazy Polish food such as black currot we made it to Warsaw.  All of the guys broke into a group and we were off to explore the city.  We checked out Stalin’s tower. The tallest 4 faced clock tower in the world even bigger than Big Ben in London.  After that we toured around and enjoyed a massive Kebab before getting on the bus back to the airport.  We got on a short flight to Bucharest and next thing I knew we were in the Romanian airport our home for the night.  At the airport the squad that was just leaving Romania greeted us. I was fortunate enough to meet the team that had just finished there month up at the camp.  They made that camp sound incredible. It is a summer church camp for kids in the mountains of Transylvania. We would have a 4-bedroom house to ourselves for the month complete with showers and a washer and dryer.  The camp is even equipped with a truck that we would have exclusive access to. I was ecstatic to hear all of these details. After the excitement wore off I discovered the next train to Lipova the colest town to the camp didn’t leave for 20 hours.  We made the best of it and after sleeping in the airport we set out to explore Bucharest for the day.  We saw Parliament, enjoyed dinner in the park, and embraced the European atmosphere as we prepared for the final leg of our journey a 12-hour train ride.  The first few hours went great and as we were getting settled in a Romanian man started yelling at us and we finally came to the conclusion that we were in the wrong car. So we gathered all of our belongings and maneuvered down the narrow hallways to get to our assigned seats in a different part of the train.  Once we arrived at our assigned seats we came to the harsh realization that there was not enough room for our belongings and bodies in the compartment. In the end we rotated sitting in the hall with our stuff for the remaing 9 hours of the train ride, which seemed like a lifetime.  Once we finally arrived in Lipova we were greeted to Michael and Romei and taken to the camp. Our 115-hour journey with only 15 hours of sleep from Little Mexico to Transylvania was complete!
