This is my favorite photo for so many reasons. It was taken in Peru which seems like forever ago but was only about 4 months ago. Peru was the country I began to look at my teammates like friends instead of girls I was forced to be friends with. Peru was where I learned to be vulnerable and let people in instead of close them off. Peru was where I learned what it means to have friends who will literally love you no matter what. Peru was where I had so many revelations about myself through casual conversations while cleaning a bathroom. These girls have become my support system, my hype team, and my family. They carry so much love and joy with them and never cease to give that to everyone around them. Not only are they amazing human beings but they’re funny. And I personally love a jokester. Thanks God for blessing me with 8 new sisters.
