swaziland-
in swazi the lord showed me how many idols I had in my life. he pruned me and showed me how to abide in him. he gave me little slivers of his love and how much I was missing out on because of the walls and idols I had put up. God didn’t just show me what my idols were, or told to get rid of them. He literally got them out of my life. He told me “im doing this because I love you and you need this out of your life so you can grow into who I created you to be, those things/ people hold you back to who you are through me.”
nepal-
in nepal I saw a lot of sacrifice. in a country where they’re 99% hindu, it was really hard to find God. it was hard to be focused on his presence in so much darkness. there was a lot of spiritual warfare here. the lord really softened my heart for the people in Nepal. In Guatemala, the lord showed me how the Israelites whenever they turned away and worshiped idols, how similar it looks to Nepal.
india-
in india the lord gave me a love of the Old Testament and reading and diving into his word. there wasn’t much to do there besides that very thing. it was a really hard country for me so diving into scripture helped heal a lot of pain and it ended up in me learning that scripture is how the lord speaks to me.
guatemala-
in guat I learned how to use all the knowledge that the lord has given me and put it into action. how to pray for healing and pray really bold prayers. how to show love and actually mean it. how to be bold into talking to people about the lord and share the gospel. He gave me so many people to pour into me in Guatemala and disciple me and show me examples of how to live boldly, unashamed, and full of faith.
