“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” ~Matthew 28:19-20

Life between training camp and launch has been a growing experience. As I am preparing to leave, the realization of what is about to happen is hitting me hard. It does not make me as sad as I thought I was going to be. You see, I thought about it and I am going to miss my family so much and I will miss my home, however, I see it as such a small blimp in my timeline. I am beyond ready to get out on the field and start planting seeds.

This whole process has really made me grow closer to God. I started to see Him in a different way at camp and now I know that I can trust Him totally and completely with no fear. I know things are going to be difficult from time to time, but I know that in the end, we are going to make a difference even if it is just a small one.

I believe that God called me and my squad for a reason. I have learned to not let earthly things get in the way of doing Gods Will to better the Kingdom. Really quick here are the top 5 things that I learned from training camp that will be with me forever.

1.) God does NOT make mistakes! I was put here for a purpose.
2.) It is good to be uncomfortable. If I am in a comfortable spot with God then I need to get ready cause he is about to take me out of it to help me grow.
3.) I need to deny myself, pick up my cross, and follow Him.
4.) The purpose of reading the Bible is not to just read it, but to grow a relationship with Jesus!
5.)The devil is going to do everything he can to keep me and my squad from doing great things. He
will bring up my past and the things that I have already asked for forgiveness from. I just need to tell him that he has no power here! God has forgiven me and love me.

“I am leaving you with a gift–peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” ~John 14:27

I am a disciple of God. It doesn’t matter where I am. I could be in Thailand or right here in Middle Georgia. I can do great things with Him by my side and we are going to make a difference.
