There’s a few safety precautions that one may need to be aware of when venturing back to ‘Merica:

1. Everything you learned about cross walks in Vietnam no longer exists.

2. Public urination is frowned upon and a crime.

3. Bartering is considered loitering and harassment, and you may go to jail.

4. You can drink the water.

5. You’ll no longer have to hear the question “why are you fat?”.

6. Translators are no longer needed….usually.

7. If you go to church someone else will run the service.

8. You can now go places by yourself whenever you want…..but it’s not recommended in all places.

9. Don’t get mad when you’re smoothies not $1.

10. Animals are ok to pet…..unless they’re foaming at the mouth.

11. 4$ food budget is probably not advisable.

12. If you go to the park…..people will more than likely leave you alone.

13. When you wake up in a room alone….don’t panic.

14. Be prepared to have a room to yourself for as long as you need….whenever you need. (shout to all you introverts)

15. In some parts of the country it’s weird to not have a tattoo. I recommend stenciling one on.

16. If venturing to the south be prepared for possible passive aggressiveness…..but with good intentions. If venturing to the north…..you’re on your own.

17. Be prepared for seasons to change, and dress yourself accordingly.

Safety first people!
