On September 6th I will be heading to Atlanta, GA to meet back up with my beautiful V Squad family for Launch! That's less than one month from now. To be exact….it's 22 days. I know….where has the time gone? I swear just yesterday I was in the Dominican when I felt God call me into missions….no….that was over a year ago. Now it's here….I'm about to leave for a year….an unforgettable, God moving, CHAINLESS year.
If you can't see by the picture above, the term "Chainless" is a pretty important one to me. It's a constant reminder that I am no longer chained to the things that Satan has put in my life. I'm no longer bound by the things of this world. My chains have been broken away by the love of Christ! I am set free by God's grace…..hallelujah and AMEN to that! There's also other importance to this name…..it happens to be my teams name. Team Chainless!

Meet my team leader, Ekow. He's pretty awesome (I'll be saying that about the rest of them as well….so get used to it). He's the strong silent type, with a heart of gold, and some God-given wisdom that would blow your mind. He's also a die hard Auburn fan…..I'm praying for that one! Haha! God couldn't have placed a better person to guide my team throughout this year!

If you meet this chic….you'll never forget her. She has an energy about her that forces you to get fired up for Jesus. Her zealous personality, mixed with her love for Christ is something that I know I needed more of in my life. So thanks Jesus for putting her in it! Meet our other God-fearing guy on our team, Erik. He's got a huge teddy bear heart, and a love for others like no other. He's pretty hilarious (actually all of my team is funny…..again, thanks Jesus for that!)….and you never see his jokes coming, because, like Ekow, he's a strong silent type. His passion to serve Christ radiates from him, making others eager to get to know him. I'm so excited to be able to walk beside him, and see him grow in Christ!

Ladies and gentlemen…..this is Helene. For starters, she has the most contagious laugh you'll ever see….seriously, you'll be in tears laughing once she starts. She has this gift of just letting God speak through her to touch others hearts and souls. It's so good that it'll make you cry (I'm speaking from experience on this). I'm so pumped to be able to go along beside her this year, and see how God uses her!

Kasey……such an amazing person inside and out. I got to see her grow over Training Camp, and I can't wait to see her grow over this next year! She's on fire for Christ, and so ready for God to use her however He sees fit. She's a die hard LSU fan…..another one I'm going to have to pray about! Haha! I know that God has placed this gem in my life for a reason, and I couldn't have been more blessed!

Last, but certainly not least…..meet Rachael. She has this quiet, soft soul that is so beautiful. If you've noticed…..there are several strong silent types on my team, but mind you they are not to be forgotten. When she speaks, you listen, because what she is saying is something that will rock your world. She has a love for Christ that speaks leaps and bounds about her. I just get so excited thinking about spending the next year with this chic….she kinda sorta totally rocks!
So there you have it folks….my beautiful, inspirational, God-fearing, life-touching, Team Chainless family! God has hand picked each of these incredible people in my life for a specific reason, and I'm already beginning to see why!
