Hi Everyone! 
I am so excited to write my very first World Race blog post!
This will be the page where I will be connecting with everyone back home when I am on the race. I just want to share a little bit about what God has been doing in my life to prepare me for this experience.
As you might know, I was initially planning on going on the June 2019 Route. Through some turn of events, prayer, and watching a profound sermon, I began to understand what God’s plan was. He showed me that I needed to not rush into this, and “stride” instead of “strive.” He wanted me to take more time seeking Him, and preparing for this incredible journey. I looked at the new Routes that had just been released, and I knew right away that the first one was for me. My heart moved when I read the list of countries, as I had already read and prayed about many of them. However, I would leave 4 months later than planned.
So, with that explained, I am now leaving on the October 2019 Route 1!
” See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland. “

I cannot contain my excitement for this adventure, knowing that the good Father has it in His hands. When He is for something, who can be against it? When He plans something, who can reverse it?
I love you all so much, my friends and family are so important to me. My prayer is that this trip will not only change my life, but change and inspire yours as well. That He will use this to draw everyone closer to Him, and closer to each other.
