Do you ever look at someone else and wish you could be them?

Do you ever wish you could be more outgoing?

Do you ever wish you could be as funny and smart as someone else?

Do you ever wish you could be as strong and athletic as someone else?

Do you ever just feel like you are not enough?!

For the majority of my life, I have struggled with comparison. I have wished I could be more outgoing, smart, confident, funny,  athletic etc..

Though I hate being the center of attention, there were times where I wished I could walk into a room and make every one laugh.

There were times were I wished I wasn’t an introvert.

There were times where I felt like I wasn’t enough. But, this comparison is going to stop.

So, let me tell you a little bit of who I am:

Hey, my name is Sisay Grace T Eisenmenger.

I am about 5’6” tall.

I have brown eyes and brown hair.

My family is my whole world.

I am adopted.

Prison break and Gilmore girls are two of my favorite shows.

While most people see running as a punishment, I find it to be quite relaxing.

I love to travel.

I love to laugh at people’s little jokes.

At times I can be a little sassy.

I have a huge afro I used to be a little embarrassed of, but now I kinda love it.

Don’t ask me to pick one favorite color because I have two.

I find ants to be super fascinating. I mean, talk about strength and teamwork!

Music plays a big role in my life so if you want to be friends with me, get ready to listen to lots of it!

So, this is me, quite and reserved.

I may not know how to crack jokes, but I will make sure to laugh at yours.

I may not have a whole lot of self confidence, but I am working on it.

I may not be as athletic as I want to be. But, thank God I can still go outside and  run.

There may be lots of things I don’t understand about life.

But, what I know and understand is that I am who I am. I don’t want to become who I am not.

I don’t want to change me.

I don’t want to compare myself  to someone else because I am enough.

I am proud to be me.
