I have just a couple of days left in Romania. It is crazy to think I am already at the end of month two. At times I feel like I have been on the race forever; other times I feel like time is flying by. This month has been such a great one. The relationships I have formed both with my squad members and the locals is something I will value forever. It is funny how when you decide to love others through the good and the bad times, whether you understand their language or not, everything changes for the better. Our kindness changes people’s lives. People don’t always need material things, but they long and hunger to be loved and valued. My prayer for each one of you reading this blog is that you always love those around you and help them understand how precious and loved they are. You might not always get the response you want from people, but LOVE them anyways. Even if they have a different perspective on life than yours, even when nothing you do seems to please them, love them anyways. I just have seen so much brokenness and hurt, and I want to encourage you to bring light to people’s lives. Be the person that puts a smile on someone else’s face. That doesn’t mean you need to fake it and pretend to be happy all the time. In fact, please don’t ever pretend to be something you are not. But, I promise you, you can always find a reason to smile. Shouldn’t the fact you woke up with the things you need and many things you want make you smile?  More than anything else, your joy should come from God, not from what you have or don’t have. I truly encourage you to love others and be KIND.

“Be the living expression of God’s kindness, kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.”

I love you all. And as always thank you for reading my blog.
