At training camp back in June, I told God I didn’t want to be on an all girls team. Not because I hate girls or anything, but because most of my friends are guys and I am used to hanging out with my brothers. But God had other plans in mind and I became a Radiant Ruby. At first I was indifferent. I didn’t know what to expect, but over the last 5 months this team has helped me get out of my comfort zone, taught me that my voice matters, and helped me see my true value. There will never be a team like them, but I am excited for this new challenge and journey the Lord is taking me on.
