I just camp back from an amazing, yet hard week at Training Camp! This week was full of surprises that pushed me spiritually and physically. Yet, this week was one where I was able to growth in my faith. I was able to meet the group of people I would be sharing the next year of my life with. These 40 people are all unique and special in their own way and will bring something to the L SQUAD group. Each person has walked a different path in life and has many perspectives and ideas that help the group and challenge others to grow in their faith. I was able to find out my team that I would be with. There are 7 of us and each one of us is very different! All together though, it brings cohesiveness and we will be able to push each other to grow spiritually.
I come out of this week and I feel like I haven’t been able to share my heart over my blog. I want to let people know that this next year is not a vacation for me. I am not going to 11 countries to tour the country, lie on beaches with a drink in my hand, or to go on a shopping spree. I am there because I want to help the people of these countries that are broken, in need, want someone to listen to them, love them, and most importantly spread the amazing news about Jesus. My heart for these people is bursting out of the box and can’t be contained. I want to love them like they have never experienced and plant seeds about God and who he is. I want to grow as a person and become more understanding of the people and world around me. I want to grow in my faith and live a life where Jesus is in every action I take.
I am so excited for this next year and I can’t wait to see the amazing work God has in store for L Squad. If you could please just have us in your prayers as we prepare for the next month for this amazing journey, I would really appreciate it! Every bit of support counts. I am always looking for prayer support, financial support, and any other support you can think of. I appreciate everyone and the journey that you are taking with me! 35 days!
