I can’t believe after four years, I finally graduated! I am so thankful I was able to go to a school where I could study a subject that I was interested in and also play soccer at a Division 1 level. The experiences I have had in the last four years have changed me and made me the woman I am today in Christ. I have gained lifelong friendships and memories that will last forever.
After graduating though, I had to make the trek home. A friend and I drove across the country which most people do not get the chance to do. During this trip we were able to go and see so much of God’s beauty. We went through: Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Washington. The beauty at times was breathtaking and it made me realize how tankful I am to have been given the opportunity to experience driving across the country. God was able to make the rolling hills, the mountains, the Bison, the wolf, the eagle and so much more on my trip. Each part of the United States that we saw was uniquely and intentionally made by God. This blows my mind.
Now, home and finally unpacked, I am preparing myself for the journey ahead of me. I am excited, nervous, and thrilled to be able to be making this journey in 87 days. I can’t wait to see the land God has created around the world and the people who he has created in these countries. There will be so many lessons to be learned and so much work to be done. I know God is going to work in awesome ways and it is going to blow my mind.
I wanted to say thank you for letting me reach my first fundraising goal! I still have more to go though! I am looking for prayer during this time as I prepare myself and keep fundraising to meet my goal which is $16,250. I appreciate all the support I have had so far and I can’t wait to see what the next three months hold!
Here are some photos from my trip!
